I am a Pilates Instructor and founder of the FaceToned® Method. My fitness journey started in my teens going to workout out with my mum, it was the perfect bonding which has continued since my adulthood. In 2011 at the age of 39, after working in Finance and becoming a mum, I decided to pursue my passion in fitness and become a teacher of Facial Fitness and Pilates.
I trained with leaders in these fields. I received my first degree from Alan Herdman and then with BASI (Body Arts and Science International) Pilates. I completed the BASI Master program with Rael Isacowitz, an experience to take Pilates to an athletic level. I extended these qualifications by training with Eva Fraser for Facial Fitness in 2013.
In 2013, I opened my own private studio, Studio Carme in London and since then, I have been teaching the FaceToned® method and Pilates to hundreds of private clients.
I want everyone to understand that exercising is the most powerful anti-ageing method possible for the body and for your face. The same results you achieve with Pilates in your body you can do it with FaceToned® in your face. Exercising is the starting point to having young and toned skin, together with a healthy diet and lifestyle.
Everyone should embrace ageing as an exciting journey, where you should continually learn, practise face exercises, fitness and cherish your soul. Ultimately, I aim for your wellbeing, a feeling of being content and satisfied with yourself.
